The Busy Life

Ok, so I sounded a little stressed in my last post. It's not that bad. I forgot to mention how lucky I am to be healthy and to be able to be so busy. I also forgot to mention so many other things that we did this past week. It was a really busy week at our house but fun and memorable.

First of all, my sister Annie and BIL, Doug, came to visit last friday night for our niece, Avah's dance recital. It was so nice to see them and get to spend some time with them. We owe them a visit to Pittsburgh.

My Mom also came to visit and stayed for the week!!! We ate all kinds of good food, she came in to the clinic and I cleaned her teeth, played Hi-Ho Cherry-Oh, and we just relaxed. Her dogs, Sammi and Daisy, came along too. Here is Sammi - the golden doodle.

Also, this week, I discovered that the tomato plants I planted from seed are STARTING TO GROW!!!! I am trying out the upside down tomato plants and never thought I would EVER get a plant to grow. Avah noticed little green sprouts coming up through all three plants!! I am in shock and I hope that they grow nice and big and produce lots of yummy tomatoes. Next we are going for the full garden. I have some seedlings started and want to plant them in May but I don't know if anything is going to grow.

Here's our last little surprise. After lots of tries at adopting a french bulldog and no luck, we after lots of research and searching came across an adorable little 6 mos. old who needed a home. She was to be a show dog but got a tad too long in the body for the ring. She is beautiful and so sweet and gentle. She came for a visit to our house over two weeks ago to meet Bubba and Rose. One week later we went to pick her up and have had her for a week now and love every second of her. She plays with Rose and curls right up next to her on the couch. She was named when we got her so here's STOLI!!

So there is our week in review. Very busy but fun.

My head is spinning

I feel like my head is going to roll off. I have been so busy with trying to graduate from school and pass all my exams that my life is passing me by in a flash. I am so tired and I am having a hard time keeping up with it all.
In the meantime of trying to finish school, study for my boards and pass my clinical exam, we have had a foster bulldog, Violet and have been going to a number of events to try and get her adopted. She is a sweet girl, she just has some allergies and should really be an only dog. We are hoping she finds the perfect family for her soon. We were interviewed at Bullyfest and got our picture taken by a great photographer, April Ziegler. Here is the the article on AroundMainline.com. We were also on the morning news last week, where Violet stole the show.
I will hopefully get my exam results soon so I can find myself a job right after school. I can't believe I graduate in TWO weeks. It is crazy.
