My Talented Family

Busy weekends since the last time I posted to the blog. Once again, I feel like another year is flying by. I will be glad when the winter is over but the months can slow down a little.

So I wanted to highlight all the creative and talented ladies in my family. We had my sister, Annie's, baby shower this past weekend and she received so many hand made baby gifts. There are so many talented people in our family. I can't even post all the pictures - there are just too many.

B, Gram Barb, Mom, Annie, Me and Aves in the center.
Me, Megan, Annie, Ann

My mom made Baby D a sock monkey.

This is a blanket that Ann made for Baby D. I also need to mention that the one she made for Duke is the softest blanket ever.

Aunt Megan cross stitched Baby D a blanket.

My mom made the centerpieces for the shower. CUTE!! I love the monkey.

CUTE!!

Ann made a diaper cake!

My sister, B, and I made noah's ark themed cookies for the shower.

My nephew, Matthew, turned SIX on Feb. 7th. He has been learning to snowboard with his mom and dad so his creative and talented mom, Kim, made him an awesome cake! Look out cake boss!

She also made these adorable little treats. They are cake bites inside of chocolate. YUM! They are almost too adorable to eat (almost).

And this is my son who is practicing for the circus. He is trying to balance on a basketball while watching tv. His dad is the foot helping him balance so we don't get another bump on the head. He is a nut! Oh and the cleaning lady never showed up that week so the house is a mess in the background (wink).
My grandma also made a quilt for baby D but I didn't get a good picture of it. It is really beautiful. Lots of thoughtful gifts for the new baby.
I think that is all I got right now. February just flew by. We are all now patiently awaiting the arrival of Baby D in March. I am sure that March will be over before we know it too. To see some awesome preggo pictures of my sista click here.

Not Much Going On

The past couple of weeks have been spent surviving the cold! A little bit of cabin fever setting in but I am hoping the groundhog is right and spring is right around the corner. The baby has been keeping us entertained during our time in the house. The boy doesn't stop for and instant.
Maybe this is why he doesn't stop?
Rocking out
Ice! Poor Bubs hates going outside in this weather.
Duke and Daddy waiting for Bubs outside.
