Hot Air Balloon

I went outside to let the dogs out this evening and saw this flying above our yard and house. Pretty.

Margaret Anna turned 7 and a busy weekend!

The last weekend in June, my sister and I had our first ever yard sale. I had stuff boxed up from college! I want rid of it and if I can make some money getting it out of my house, great. We didn't advertise except for craigslist so we mostly got drive-by's. Some strange folks stopped by but it made for a busy and entertaining weekend. We plan to do another one in September and advertise better.

For the yardsale I made lemon cookies to go with the free lemonade we had for the patrons :-). It was a hot weekend.

My niece, Maggie, had a birthday at the end of June. She turned 7 going on 16. She had a party at mom-mom's pool with her friends and Jack, Duke and I crashed the party. It's a long story. So, I took some pictures while we were there of the little cuties.

After the pool party we played a game she got for her birthday. We had to guess what the card on our forehead was. Pretty cute.

Sunday, we went to Parker P.'s first birthday party. He is the cutest kid around. I love his Bieber hair. Obviously, he didn't want to get his hands dirty on his birthday.

After Parker's party on Sunday, we went back to the Horgan's for a pool party like we used to have before kids. Well, not quite like we used to but same cast of characters plus some little ones.

Blueberry Breakfast Casserole!

We brought home some home grown blueberries from our visit to gram and pap's this weekend so I'll be making THIS again.

My cousin, Hilary, made this during our MO visit inJune. Jack and I LOVED it. SO, I got the recipe and made it this past weekend when we went home for the 4th of July. I am making it again this weekend.

We had so much good food in Missouri so I am testing out some new recipes. This is so good.
The dish is a Pampered Chef stoneware dish that I rinsed with water and rubbed the stone stick across a couple times. It was the easiest dish I ever had to clean and it baked this casserole to perfection. Check out the great stuff here. I wish I could do my bridal shower all over again. I would register everything here!
