Where does the time go?

So it's been two months since my last post. A lot went on in the two months for me not to post so I will try to sum it all up without making this a ten pager.

First, I passed all my dental hygiene exams and graduated from Harcum on May 16th. That was a huge relief for me and I am sure for Jack and my family. I can finally work and earn a paycheck and contribute to our savings and bills.

I went home to visit, FINALLY, and got to spend some good quality time with the family over Memorial Day weekend. We had some graduation parties, ate chicken salads at Legends (with fries on top), played corn hole, went to Bilger's Rocks (scarier than I remember) and just got to hang out with family.

Next, we flew to Ohio to visit mom and go to the PGA Memorial Tournament. What a great time Jack and I had. Gram and Pap Harper came out too and it was a beautiful weekend. Friday, while Jack was at the golf tournament, we went to the Columbus Zoo and had fun listening to grandma's comments and looking at the animals. I got some yum-o dippin dots, my first of the summer. Saturday mom and I joined the guys at the tournament and watch Tiger play some golf. It was AWESOME! I never thought I would say that about golf but I loved sitting in the grass watching the players and seeing the beautiful golf course. Annie came out for dinner on Saturday night and we all got to just relax and gossip.

After Ohio I started working! I only work two days a week right now but it's a start. I am trying to get back into a schedule of getting up and going to work but two days a week right now is good for me. They are long days. I will add a couple more days to my week soon.

It has been raining cats and dogs in eastern, PA for the whole month of June. I am tired of wet weather and want summer to arrive. We actually had a hail storm this last week. It was nuts.

Oh, and during all of the travels and goings on, we found out we are expecting a baby!! Mmm hmmm, a real baby Horgan is on it's way December 27th. Avah calls the baby her "Christmas Cousin". She is so excited and so are we. It was quite a surprise and I haven't been feeling good for the past two months with morning, afternoon and night sickness. But, I am finally starting to have more energy and not feeling so horrible in the mornings. Now we just need to find out whether we are having a boy or girl and we can start planning the nursery. Poor Rose has to endure testing out most of the new baby products. I didn't think she would mind.

I will try to post more frequently now that I can look at a computer without getting dizzy. Hopefully I have some interesting items to post, like our trip to Pittsburgh this weekend!
