Today's weather made me want to get outside, away from the computer and couch, and go for a nice long walk in the park with the baby - or just around the driveway a couple times.Aunt B came over to visit this morning and since the sun was out and it was nice and warm outside, we decided to strap Duke into the BOB stroller (LOVE IT!) and see how he liked strolling around for a bit. It looked like he enjoyed it. He's a funny little boy - his facial expressions are not easy to read unless he really thinks I am a lunatic all the time.
It's a whole new world out there for him. We haven't spent much time outside because of the freezing cold temperatures and him being so young. Hopefully those days are behind us and he can start seeing the world beyond our front door.
And we decided (I decided) to just embrace the whole cowboy thing. I guess with the name "John Wayne" it's inevitable that you are going to get themed gifts so if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Besides, he is adorable in a cowboy hat.
